Important information for prospective students
As Prof. Dr. Sideras has recently retired, the chair of Byzantine and Modern Greek Philology at the University of Goettingen is and will be vacant in the future. It is therefore impossible to enrol in the program. For those students that are interested in learning Modern Greek there will be two language courses taught by a lecturer (one for beginners and one for advanced students). Still, Byzantine and Modern Greek Philology will remain a research program at the University of Goettingen.
The table of contents of the current issue of the "Göttinger Beiträge zur Byzantinischen und Neugriechischen Philologie" (GBBNP) you may find here. Orders should be placed with the Peust und Gutschmidt Publishing House.
