Theses
Topics for bachelor-, master- and doctoral theses are related to our
current research projects. Thesis projects combine two or more
different techniques in order to study a scientific question of
adequate complexity. While bachelor thesis projects will deal with a
defined question, motivated master and doctoral students will have the
opportunity to establish new techniques and develop their topics into
directions that appear of most interest to them.
Lab courses
We offer individual lab courses that provide the opportunity to learn
and practice various techniques that are commonly used in
neurosciences. These include behavioural studies, electrophysiology,
pharmacology, immunocytochemistry, histochemistry, cell culture and
microscopy (fluorescence, confocal and electron microscopy) as well as
the analysis and presentation of respective data.
