Alps and Carpathian
mountains. In Germany scattered populations in the Allgäu Alps,
Schwarzwald, Schwäbische Alb, Odenwald, Taunus, Pfälzer Wald,
Eifel. Uncertain records from Hannoversch-Münden and Jena.
