Subspecies
Two subspecies are
recognized: the nominate subspecies and Ancistronycha erichsonii
kurbatovi Kazantsev, 1989. Only the nominate form occurs in Germany.

Identification
Distribution
The nominate subspecies occurs in Central and
Eastern Europe and Asia Minor. The subspecies A. e. kurbatovi occurs in
southern Russia and the Caucasus.
