Paracorymbia hybrida (Rey, 1885)
This species has long been placed in the genus Corymbia Des Gozis, 1886,
but this name is a junior homonym of Corymbia Walker, 1865, a genus of
Lepidoptera. The oldest available name that is not a homonym is
Stictoleptura Casey, 1924. The genus Stictoleptura has also
beendivided into several genera, and the present species has been
placed in the
genus Paracorymbia Miroshnikov, 1998. However, the splitting of
Stictoleptura does not reflect natural groups and is not accepted here
(see also Brustel et al. 2002).
