The nominal taxon Cyphon bohemani has long been regarded as a separate
species. Klausnitzer (2009) examined specimens of Cyphon bohemani from
several locations and found no morphological differences and no
biological differences between Cyphon bohemani and Microcara testacea,
and both are thus identical.
