Scaphisoma boleti dilutum Reitter, 1885
Only the nominate subspecies occurs in Germany.

Note: this species has often been confused with Scaphisoma agaricinum
and Scaphisoma assimile. Thus, many records of these names in the
literature actually refer to Scaphisoma boleti.
Identification
Distribution
Widely distributed in Europe. Also recorded from the Caucasus region
and Turkey. The subspecies S. b. dilutum occurs in central Asia.
