Original description Synonyms Clavaphorura septemseta Salmon, 1943 (p. 377) Tullbergia septemspina Schaller, 1949 (p. 268) (nomen nudum) (unclear synonym) Identification Distribution This species is only known from New Zealand. There is a record from Germany of a species named Tullbergia septemspina. Although this name is a nomen nudum, Salmon (1964) suggests that this name is an erroneous spelling for septemseta. If one accepts this notion, then the mentioning of Tullbergia septemspina is a very doubtful German record of Clavaphorura septemseta. But see also Dinaphorura spinosissima.
