Identification
Distribution
Distributed in Central and south Europe; also recorded from Mallorca
and from Norway.
Biology
A common species in open and dry habitats. The species tolerates a
large variety of habitats: recorded from coastal areas, meadows, sand
dunes, heath, mountainous areas, forests. The species prefers upper
soil levels (0-5 cm) when the soil is covered by vegetation, but will
also go deeper into the soil when vegetation is lacking. Only females
are known in this
species.
