Identification
Distribution
This species has recently been confirmed for Germany. There is
a find of four females from Niedersachsen (Stuke 2010) which show the
wing coloration typical for Atissa kerteszi and not known for Atissa
pygmaea. Thus, these specimens are very likely to be A kerteszi.
However, since the females can not be separated with certainty, the
confirmation of Atissa kerteszi in Germany was only possible by the
find of males from Niedersachsen and Sachsen-Anhalt (Stuke 2011).
