Recorded from tropical Africa and northern Africa (Algeria, Egypt, Canary Islands), Guam, Hawaii, Bulgaria, Poland,
Lithuania, Russia, Ukraine, Greece, Italy. Not yet recorded from
Germany, but very likely to occur along the German Baltic Sea coast.
