Identification
Distribution
This species was long known only from its type
locality, the island Bornholm in the Baltic Sea.
However, there are now records of this species
from other countries as well. It is recorded
from Romania (Parvu 2005), Andorra (Carles-Tolra
Hjorth-Andersen 2002), Hungary and Sweden
(Zatwarnicki 2018). It is unclear if these
specimens have been identified correctly, but
these finds indicate a wider distribution of
this species in Europe. There is no record from
Germany yet, but it is likely that the species
also occurs along the Baltic coast of Germany.
