Synonyms
Discocerina nigrithorax Becker, 1926
Ditrichophora nigrithorax (Becker, 1926)
Note: specimens of Ditrichophora nigrithorax in the Museum für
Naturkunde Berlin (which might be syntypes and identified by Becker
himself) are identical with Ditrichophora calceata (Stuke 2010). Thus,
Ditrichophora nigrithorax is probably a synonym of Ditrichophora
calceata.
Identification
Distribution
Because
this taxon is probably a synonym of Ditrichophora calceata (see
Synonyms above), the species is deleted from the German faunal list by
Stuke (2011). However, I retain it for the German fauna, because the
synonymy issue is not yet settled and requires more material and
research.
