Synonyms
Hydrellia opaca Meigen, 1838
Note: this species cannot currently be identified with any known
species. The
whereabouts of the types are unknown. It is very likely that it
is a synonym of another Ephydridae (not necessarily a Hydrellia
species), but it is also possible that it is a bona species that has
not been recorded since its original description.

Only known from the original description: Stolberg near Aachen
(Germany).
