Körperlänge 4 bis 5 mm. Die Art ist in Europa weit
verbreitet, ist jedoch sehr selten und ist nur sehr lückenhaft
nachgewiesen. Es werden keine Unterarten unterschieden.
Zur Nomenklatur: der Lectotypus (ein Männchen aus Loews
Sammlung) wird von Papp & Withers (2011) im Detail
beschrieben, so dass die Identität des Taxons nomenklatorisch
eindeutig ist.
