Biosteres impressus (Wesmael, 1835)
The
synonymy of Biosteres
carbonarius and Biosteres impressus is supported by breeding
experiments (von Achterberg 1975) and the fact that Biosteres impressus
is only known from male specimens. However, there are currently not
enough data to decide this issue and I retain the taxon Biosteres
impressus as a bona species until more data is available.
