Identification
Distribution
This is an eastern palaearctic species, distributed
in central and southern Russia, Azerbaijan, Kazachstan; the
western-most occurrence is the Caucasus. However, the species is also
listed for Poland and Germany in the Hymenopterorum Catalogus
(Shenefelt 1974) and this was probably also the basis for listing it
for Germany in the Fauna Europaea Web Service (2004). The mentioning
for Germany is unconfirmed and doubtful; it might be based on an error
in the Hymenopterorum Catalogus or a misidentification. It is
not listed by Belokobylskij and Taeger (in Dathe et al. 2001).
