Note: Horstmann (2011) has revised the types
of Mesoleius fallax alpina and has found that
they are conspecific with Lagarotis
erythrocerops; thus L. erythrocerops is a
junior synonym.
Note: the generic assignment is currently
debated. Some authors place the species in
Alexeter. However, Horstmann (2011) argues
that the species is better placed in
Lagarotis. This notion is also adopted here.
