Some authors place this species in the synonymy of Platynocheilus
cuprifrons. I have no data on this issue and provisionally retain this
taxon as a
bona species.
Identification
Biology
Parasitizes in dipterans of the genus Agromyza on
Clematis species (Clematis recta and Clematis vitalba). There is also
an unconfirmed (and rather doubtful) record of parasitizing in
coleopterans of the family Scolytidae.
Distribution
Recorded from Germany, Austria and Hungary.
