Pseudotorymus
leguminum Ruschka, 1923
Pseudotorymus leguminus Ruschka, 1923 (unjustified emendation)
Note: the species epithet is often listed as "leguminus" obviously to
match it to the male gender of the genus name. However, this is an
unjustified emendation likely caused by insufficient knowledge of the Latin
language: the
original epithet "leguminum" is not an adjective; it is the genitive
plural of "legumen" (Latin for peas and beans) and thus means "of the
peas and beans".
