Note: the name Chrysopa angustipennis has been
used for specimens from the UK. The whereabouts
of these types is unknown, but the description
suggests that this name refers to the species
currently known as Chrysopa pallens. Chrysopa
angustipennis would even be the oldest name
available for this species; however, because the
synonymy cannot be established conclusively, the
name is listed as a nomen dubium and Chrysopa
pallens is regarded as the valid name.
