Subspecies
The closely
related taxon Sympherobius riudori Navás,
1915 (from Portugal and Spain) might be a
subspecies of Sympherobius pellucidus. However,
currently both taxa are treated as separate
species and I follow this notion here. No
subspecies of Sympherobius pellucidus are
recognized.
