I follow this notion here. Identification Distribution Due to the erroneous synonymy with Acerella muscorum, many records of this species are now doubtful. Confirmed records of Acerella remyi exist from western Europe, but reports of Acerella muscorum in Central and eastern Europe might in fact refer to the present species.
