Distribution
This species is native to
Central and South America. There is an unclear report from
Rheinland-Pfalz. This might be an accidental introduction or a
misidentification of Stenocranophilus anomalocerus, a species known
from Russia and Hungary, and thus more likely to be encountered in
Germany.
