Identification
Up to 11 mm long and 2mm wide (towards the posterior end), but most specimens are smaller. Dorsal color yellow or yellow-brown, ventrally whitish. The species lacks a copulatory bursa.



Distribution
The species occurs in arctic and subarctic regions on both sides of the Atlantic ocean. In Germany, the species
is recorded from the Bay of Kiel (Baltic Sea).
