SCHEDULE

Here you find the suggested course schedule for this semester. Some minor variation may occur. All students are expected to give presentations on the respective topics. Each session is to consist of ca. 30 minutes presentation as well as exercises and discussion including my own input. The main textbook is Wardhaugh, Ronald, & Janet M. Fuller. 2015. An Introduction to Sociolinguistics. 7th ed. Blackwell Textbooks in Linguistics 4. Chichester: Wiley Blackwell, which is available in my semester apparatus. The respective chapters should be consulted first but you will need to incorporate a lot of further literature in your presentations, as found, for example, in the Bibliography.
