Our textbook, which everyone is supposed to read, is Elly van Gelderen. 2010. An Introduction to the Grammar of English. rev. ed. Amsterdam: Benjamins (e-book). Chapters which may serve as a starting point for the presentations are mentioned below. You will also have to look at other sources, in particular the grammars by Quirk et al. and Biber et al.; you may use the index to find the required information for the respective sessions. In addition, you will have to consult further books, as found, for example, in the Bibliography.
Moreover, it is highly recommended that you visit a Themenbereich-Tutorial, where you will learn how to write your term paper. You will have to apply for a place at SB@Home.
