This course is intended for students who are currently writing research papers in English linguistics (PhD dissertations, MA and BA theses, Zulassungsarbeiten). You will have the opportunity to give presentations within a small circle, ask questions and receive feedback for your work.

This course takes place every fortnight. The sessions will be on 21.4. (Introduction & Distribution of Presentations), 5.5. (Form, Structure & Resources), 19.5. (speakers: David Haedecke, Anita Stehwien), 2.6. (speakers: Ramona Kral, Felizitas von Unruh), 16.6. (speakers: Franziska Göll, Sabrina Lein), 30.6. (guest speaker: Prof. Dr. Albrecht Classen, University of Arizona: "Communication in Heroic Epics, with a Focus on Beowulf: Communicative Learning Strategies in the Early Medieval Society").
