Planning for a Regular License

This section describes what you must do when your demo license expires, or when you need to change your current regular license. TotalView uses the FLEXlm® license management software to grant or reject requests to use TotalView.

Note:   You do not need to install FLEXlm if you are using a demo license.

Your regular TotalView license is associated with a FLEXlm license manager host (the license server) and is for a specific number of floating, concurrent user licenses.

Etnus provides HTML documentation and tools for using FLEXlm. Stand-alone versions of the FLEXlm license manager are also available.
