Note: Clubiona putris
is a nomen dubium. It has been described after a
single female specimen caught near Erlangen
(Bayern, Germany). The description and the figure
resemble a dark Clubiona subsultans. The specimen
might have been a freshly molted immature specimen
which might explain the bluish color of the
opisthosoma: freshly molted Clubiona often appear
bluish and this is lost later when the cuticle
darkens and attains its normal brown tone.
Therefore I tentatively place this taxon in the
synonymy of Clubiona subsultans.
