Note: Agelena montana Blackwall, 1841 is a primary
junior homonym of Agelena montana C. L. Koch,
1834. As such it should be permanently invalid.
However, the name by Koch is currently being
regarded as a nomen dubium and therefore most
authors currently disregard the homonymy. This
matter needs further study to identify the correct
valid name of this species.
