Cixius intermedius pallipes Wagner, 1939 (partim) (a misidentification)


Identification
Size: 6.0 to 7.7 mm.


Distribution
South-eastern Europe, Asia Minor, western Asia. In Germany only in the west along the Rhine.


Biology
Phenology: adults occur from May to September (one generation) and the larvae overwinter.
Habitat: the species preferres dry and warm habitats (including vineyards), but may also be found in moister areas (e. g. in floodplains of rivers).
