Distribution
|
This species is native to Argentina and Chile. This species has been reported repeatedly
from Hamburg in the years before 1910, but all of these reports appear
to be misidentifications of Mimosestes mimosae (Von Sydow 1907)
and, therefore, the species has been removed from most current
checklists for Germany. However, it is listed as "imported" for Germany
by Köhler and Klausnitzer (1998).
