Leptura affinis Harrer, 1784 (nomen protectum)
Phytoecia affinis (Harrer, 1784)

Some authors place this species in its own genus Musaria, while other authors regard Musaria as a subgenus of Phytoecia. In my opinion, there is currently insufficient evidence for the monophyly of Musaria and the other subgenera of Phytoecia to warrant their acceptance as separate genera. Therefore, I currently do not split Phytoecia into numerous smaller genera.
