Identification

Body
size: 3-4 mm. This species is very similar to other uniformly colored
species of this genus and can easily be confused. It can be identified
by its small size and the lack of punctation on the center of the
thoracic shield. In addition, a safe indication of the species is its
host plant, the common broom Cytisus (formerly Sarothamnus) scoparius
and related broom species.
