Distribution

Recorded
from Central Europe. In Germany reported only from Hessen,
Niedersachsen, Schleswig-Holstein and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. A rare
species in Germany, most records date from
before 1900; an endangered species.

Biology

An
aquatic species that prefers brackish water. It lives on water plants
(mainly Ruppia, but also Potamogeton, Zanichellia and Zostera).
