Eine seltene und kaum wissenschaftlich untersuchte Art, deren
Verbreitungsgebiet auf das mittlere Europa beschränkt zu sein
scheint. Die Larven minieren offenbar ausschließlich in den
Blättern des Wiesen-Knöterichs (Bistorta officinalis, zuvor
Polygonum bistorta; Polygonaceae).
