Type locality: from the river Fulda near the city of Fulda (Germany), and the Maiergraben near Lunz (Austria).
The holotype is a male specimen. The types (holotype and paratypes) have
been deposited with the collection in Plön and in the collection of L.
Brundin, Drottningholm, Sweden (fide Fittkau 1954).
