Note: this species is often confused with the
nearctic D. borealis. All palearctic records
of D. borealis are in fact D. trispinosa (see
Bechev
and Chandler, 2011).

Distribution
Not yet recorded
from Germany, but can be expected to occur
there. The range of this species is still
incompletely known and the known range indicates
a wider distribution in northern and Central
Europe: Czech Republic, Sweden, Norway, Finland,
northern part of European Russia.
