Subspecies
The taxon
Hilara styriaca has been regarded as a
subspecies or variety of H. longivittata. Some
authors also have regarded the two names as
synonyms. However, Hilara styriaca is
currently regarded as a separate species and I
adopt this view here. Hilara styriaca is not
yet reported from Germany.
