Note: the word nana, -ae is the latin word for
"female dwarf". Thus, the species epithet is a
noun in apposition and is regulated by Article
31.2.2. The word is therefore not adjusted to
the grammatical gender of the genus name and
the correct form is "nana", not "nanus".
