Biology
The
species is not specialized to a specific host
plant, although in Central Europe they prefer
Fabaceae, especially Ononis. But the animals are
recorded from a number of other plant families
as well. Recorded host plants include species of
the genera Ononis, Melissa, Pulmonaria,
Potentilla, Ajuga, Melandrium, Phlomis,
Heliotropium, and Salvia.
