Note: Corixa lineata Rambur, 1840, if placed in the genus Sigara, would be a secondary homonym of several other lineata epithets previously or currently placed in Sigara. For example, Sigara lineata Fabricius, 1787 is the currently valid name of an American species. Thus, Corixa lineata Rambur, 1840 is preoccupied in Sigara and cannot be the valid name for the present species.
