Identification
Distribution
Recorded from Switzerland, Austria (doubtfully),
Spain, France, Poland, the Balcans and from
northern Africa and the Canary Islands. It is
sometimes listed for Germany as well, but a
confirmed record is lacking. Finds of Megalonotus
species in Germany, especially in the south near
the Swiss or Austrian border should therefore be
identified very carefully.
