Note: the species epithet "dominulus" is a noun
in apposition and must not be adjusted to the
gender of the genus name. The word "dominulus"
is the diminutive of "dominus" and means "little
master".
Note: the name dominulus/dominula/dominulus was
misapplied to Eurydema
fieberi for most of the 18th and 19th
century. Thus, early works treating the taxon
"dominulus/dominula/dominulum" should be treated
with care, as they most likely refer to Eurydema fieberi.
