Elytra abdomine triplo breviore. Latera abdominis albo maculata". I therefore provisionally place it here in the synonymy of the present species. Note: Wolff (1811) describes Reduvius pedestris as a new species and does not cite Poda (1761). It is not clear whether Wolff was nevertheless inspired by Poda, but omitted a citation.
