Note:
several authors have regarded Tingis stachydis as
the valid name in the past, probably because the
name "maculata" is used more than once in the
Tingidae and was therefore believed to be a
homonym. However, maculata is not homonymous,
neither primarily in its original combination with
Monanthia nor secondarily in Tingis.
