The taxon praetermissus has previously been considered as a doubtful
taxon, but its lectotype has been studied by Papp (2009) who found that
the specimen belongs to the species hitherto called Bracon romani.
Because Bracon praetermissus is the older name, it has priority and is
the valid name for this species.
