Type locality: not specified in the work and not inferrable from the
work title. Usually assumed to be Aachen (Germany), where Foerster
lived.
Note: This taxon is a nomen dubium, that cannot be currently identified
with certainty. Its assignment to the genus Elachertus is doubtful. The whereabouts of the type(s) are unknown.

Identification

The
only description given in the original work reads as follows: "Grün,
messingglänzend, die Fühler braun, der Schaft und die Beine gelb, die
Geißel 5gliedrig, stark behaart, das Gesicht ist kupferig; der
Hinterrücken ist gewölbt, glatt; der Hinterleib vollkommen keilförmig,
der Stiel sehr kurz. Männchen. Lg. 2/3 Lin." (translation: "Green, shiny
like brass, the antennae brown, the scape and the legs yellow, the
flagellum with 5 segments, very hairy, the face is like copper; the
posterior thorax is domed, smooth; the abdomen entirely wedge-shaped,
the petiolus very short. Male. Length 2/3 lines"). This description is
not exact enough and the location of type(s) is not known; thus this
taxon cannot currently be identified.
