Distribution
Northern and Central Europe, some reports
from other European locations; Central Asia, Siberia, a closely related
species, Crambus labradoriensis, in northern America. In Germany
reported from all Bundesländer except Hessen, Rheinland-Pfalz,
Saarland, and Sachsen-Anhalt. However, current records exist only from
Bayern and Brandenburg indicating that the species is threatened by
extinction in Germany.
